Q: Do you sell alcohol?

Liquor laws in Canada do not allow the sale of alcohol from a mobile vehicle. The person hosting the event is responsible for purchasing the alcohol and acquiring a Special Events Permit (find more information regarding SEP here: agco.ca) from the LCBO so we can legally serve alcoholic beverages. We are more than happy to assist in the planning of how much alcohol will be needed for your event.

Q: Are you insured?

Yes, we have commercial general liability insurance, plus all of our bartenders are Smart Serve Certified! We do require that event coordinators provide a copy of their event insurance prior to the event.

Q: What is needed to book The Happy Camper?

We require a 50% deposit plus a signed contract to reserve The Happy Camper. We also require remaining balance no later than 30 days prior to the event.

If your event is late notice (less than 30 days) we require payment in full along with a signed contract.

Q: Do you have any technical requirements?

We will need a standard 110v plug with a dedicated 15 amp circuit to operate our refrigeration and lighting system. Note: we have 50-foot extension cord we will bring. We also require a flat smooth surface so the trailer is supported, and we can operate our service smoothly.

Q: How far do you travel?

We serve a 50km radius from the Barrie Area! If you are interested in working with us, and are a bit farther away, contact us for our travel rates.

Q: How big is Shasta?

Shasta is 15 feet in length (including the tongue) and just over 7 feet wide. Her interior head room measures in at just over 6 feet from floor to ceiling.


Q: Do you require a refundable damage deposit?

Yes, a refundable damage deposit is required on all rentals. Rentals between $600 and $1000 will require a $200 damage deposit; rentals above $1000 require a $300 damage deposit. Once all items have been returned in good condition and on time, you will receive your damage deposit back within 3 days. As stipulated in the rental contract.

Q: Can we decorate Shasta?

Absolutely! She looks beautiful with balloon and floral accessories! We will work with you to make sure she is looking her best!

We would ask that you be respectful and always ask before sticking or fastening anything to her.
